Freya White

I've known Freya White since she was 14 when she regularly started singing to backing tracks at a twice monthly open mic. This is on Friday night in an often busy and noisy town centre pub. She has never been phased by the atmosphere and has been able to silence the crowd who would attentively calm down and listen, then encouragingly give rapturous applause. Her thoughtful selection of backing tracks always appeals. In performance, she always delivers with a calm manner, never appearing flustered and always sings with a beaming smile. Freya has supported other events outside of this, including Cats Trust and Dogs Trust fund raisers, often to larger audiences outside. Recently she performed in front of a four piece band for the first time and did a fantastic job.

I have known Freya (Freya White) for quite a while now and I have seen her singing go from strength to strength, so much so, I asked her if she would be the singer at our wedding on September 2nd 2023 in Worksop Notts. She stood in front of a very large congregation and confidently sang our special songs, one when we were coming down the Aisle and one when we were married and returning up the Aisle. She was that good, our guests actually said they had forgotten it was a young lady singing and just took it for granted that it was a music track. She was later inundated with compliments and all I can say is she was a special part of our day and what she did for us will never be forgotten. A very pleasant young lady, always smart and polite, her parents must be so proud. Kerry and I wish Freya all the best in her singing career, she deserves that break! Cris & Kerry Janson-Piers xx
