Freya Taylor

Having sung and danced in shows and competitions since childhood, and gaining Grade 8 in Classical singing as a teenager, Freya achieved a First Class (Hons) degree in Performance and moved to London, where she freelanced in acting and singing for a year. Following a contract in the Middle East, singing in a hotel nightclub, she went on to travel the world as front woman in a party band on cruise ships, where she performed a wide variety of genres, including 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll, Country, 80s disco, Contemporary hits, and tribute acts. Since returning home, Freya has continued performing at parties, weddings, pubs and clubs in London and across Surrey, where she was born and bred. Her repertoire covers a diverse range of artists, such as Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Becky Hill, Dolly Parton, Bruno Mars and Clean Bandit. Freya is available as either a solo act with quality backing tracks, or as part of an acoustic duo with a male singer/guitarist. Thanks to her friendly, humorous charm, and 6 years’ experience in professional entertainment, Freya’s warm stage presence creates a convivial, yet sophisticated setting for any event.
