What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our clients often rave about the high energy and unique twist we bring to classic pop songs. They love how our brass band reimagines these familiar tunes with vibrant, powerful arrangements, creating an unforgettable and lively atmosphere at their events.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have performed at a variety of venues, including weddings, private events, festivals, and concerts. Some of the notable events we’ve played at include the Southbank Centre’s Summer Festival and the Notting Hill Carnival. Our experience across these diverse settings allows us to adapt and bring our energetic brass covers of pop songs to any occasion.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Our Brass Band has been significantly influenced by several key groups. American Brass Band Lucky Chops has been a major inspiration with their innovative and energetic style. Additionally, the music of ABBA has had a profound impact on our arrangements and performance approach.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Some of the high profile events we've had the pleasure of performing at include the Southbank Centre's Summer Festival and the vibrant Notting Hill Carnival.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our lineup consists of only six instruments because the ensemble is unique and carefully crafted. We cannot add or remove any instruments without compromising its distinctive character.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We strive to be as flexible as possible to ensure your event goes smoothly. If the schedule shifts slightly leading up to the event, just keep us informed.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, of course. This is a very common request. If your event includes our equipment, we can certainly arrange for our DJ to play their sets after our performance. We provide this for an additional £250
How much time do you need to set up?
If we're playing without a PA system, we'll need 30 minutes to set up. However, if we're using our own PA system, setup typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours. If you book us with our PA system, we also offer a complimentary playlist before the performance and between sets to create the perfect atmosphere before our live show.
Can you roam around while you perform?
Yes, we perform either acoustically or with wireless microphones attached to our instruments, allowing us to move around freely. Of course, our drummer will remain in place during the performance.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Our set lists are carefully crafted from extensive experience and understanding what gets guests dancing and having a fantastic time. However, we're more than happy to discuss your preferences and ensure we tailor the music to suit your event perfectly.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Depending on the type of venue and the number of guests, we can discuss whether it's necessary to use our equipment. Our setup includes microphones for each performer, two PA System RCF 935a 4000W speakers, a Midas MR18 digital mixer, and we can also offer fog machine at no extra charge. This setup is designed for spaces accommodating up to 400 people.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn’t on our list, we might still be familiar with it. However, if you have a specific song you'd like us to learn, we're happy to accommodate that request. Please note that there is a £80 fee for this service to cover rehearsal time and other preparations.
