I started playing the bagpipes aged 8, at my school, where it seemed as if it was expected of you to do so, or else you were a slight out cast. I got to grips with playing quite quickly, and continued through my education, all the way to age 18. My proudest achievement to date would be performing the introductory solo for "Highland Cathedral" at the Birmingham Symphony Hall for my school, in March 2016. I was also Pipe Major and competed in various competitions, some even with success! When I finished school in 2017, my friend and I (a fellow piper) took ourselves Inter Railing around Europe, and busked all over the continent, in cities such as Paris, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona to name a few!
