Having seen Fran play at numerous gigs around the Huddersfield music scene I decided to hire her for a Mcmillan fundraiser event... She blew us all away with her mix of beautiful acoustic covers and her original material too... Highly recommended...!!!

When I saw Francesca Anna at Veeno in Leeds recently, I was so impressed by her talent. She has an exquisite and powerful voice and adds her own unique twist to well loved songs. An absolute joy to listen to, she skilfully brings songs to life in her own evocative way. I also saw her in Huddersfield performing her own material (as Fran Minney) at The Northern Quarter, 27th October 2018. She wooed us with her gorgeous voice and poetic lyrics about her Durham roots, love and life. She was amazing! Highly recommend!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The way I put my own twist on well known classics and put so much emotion and life into my performances. I've been told that I've made people's days extra special whether by providing ambience with relaxed background music or getting people dancing and singing along with lively songs.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

This is a hard question, but I would say it was performing for Thomann's Music Never Stops Festival in 2020 as it was open to musicians worldwide and I was chosen as one of the acts. It was a wonderful experience!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately I am unable to provide this.

How much time do you need to set up?

I require 30 minutes to set up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am happy to learn 1 song request as long as it is requested up to 1 month before the event.
