Fragile Sanity?? That’s not a wedding band name!? Nope you’re absolutely right. While they originally started out as a rock band, they found their new path later on, performing at weddings and parties. Except by this time, they were widely known as Fragile Sanity. So, they kept it. Having a wedding in the South West? Fragile Sanity make up what is probably the best and most qualified function band in Cornwall. The band consists of ex-touring musicians, who have performed alongside such icons as Gary Moore from Thin Lizzy and Al Hodge from Leo Sayer. They are passing on their craft as music teachers. They are regularly booked by companies such as the Walkabout Chain and Haven holidays and are favoured by many wedding venues as recommended suppliers around Cornwall and Devon. Their repertoire, spanning all the way back to the 50s, right up to present day means that there is something for all tastes and all ages. All members sing, providing rich vocal harmonies to the more complicated tracks not many other bands would wish to attempt, such as The Beach Boys and Queen. With an investment of approximately £20k of equipment, sound, lighting and visual quality is nothing short of professional.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes! I run the band as well as front it and I've never missed a booking after over 400 shows. We do have a big book of contacts in case any member falls ill or cannot attend for a reason to make sure you have a band for your event.

Do you have different line-up options?

We stick as a 4 piece (Guitar/Keys/Vocals, Guitar/Vocals, Bass/Vocals, Drums/Vocals).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Not a problem, there is always a degree of flexibility with our timings. Just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Indeed, we offer it as part of our package free of charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We allow an hour and a half to set up and soundcheck but if access to the venue, stage and electrics are good, we are normally up and running within the hour.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely, we want to make sure the sets are tailored to your tastes.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We are fully self contained. Lighting, PA and sound engineer are all included in our quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes. Happy to include an extra 2 songs that dont currently appear in our repertoire, free of charge. Learning a first Dance is automatically included in our package.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

It's all about the show! We are very accomplished musicians, but we want to provide an entertaining show for your night to remember. We've invested about £30k in equipment to make sure sound and visuals are nothing short of professional.

Hi Jodie, It was great meeting you all last week, we had the best day and evening!! We were constantly approached during evening saying how great you guys were and are still hearing it from our friends a week later. Myself and Bev also want to say personally thanks so much and you guys were great, you did an awesome set and got us past our fear of a first dance!! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and couldn’t have wanted for a better band! Please feel free to use this statement wherever you want and please let us know if there are any sites you want us to leave feedback on as we would be more than happy to, you guys were awesome! If we ever need a band again we know who to call. Thanks, Mark and Bev

Hello Jodie, We would like to take this rather delayed opportunity to thank you and the band so much for playing at our wedding, you were absolutely amazing and our friends and family are still raving about you – which is a true testament to how awesome you were. Thank you so much for making the whole planning and execution so seamless and stress free and for playing some of our favourite songs. You guys really topped off a great day – the Fresh Prince rap was a personal favourite! Many thanks Helen and Simon
