I’m a Somerset-based singing guitarist, who has been playing live for more than 10 years. I have a wide repertoire, spanning across multiple genres and styles, having grown up in a folk duo with my dad and forming an indie punk band in my college years. I now mainly play solo acoustic indie music, when not writing, recording, and performing with my band.

Flo absolutely rocked our family landmark birthday celebration garden party! She was a pleasure to work with both before and during the event. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed her performance and her thoughtful choice of cover songs. We even shared some favourite artists with her beforehand and she delivered some fantastic renditions. We would definitely recommend Flo.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The feedback I get is mixed, based on the type of performance I have provided. When I play weddings, people appreciate the relaxed, background feel of the music. At bar events and the like, people appreciate the more upbeat energy and songs to get the crowd going. People have also commented on my ability to learn requests of songs that are special to them.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've performed at venues such as The Exchange (Bristol), The Grace (London), The Louisiana, and festivals such as Beautiful Days, Towersey, Bearded Theory, and Greenbelt, amongst many more. These were, however, all with my original music. With covers, I've played across venues in Germany and Norway, as well as a few venues in the UK.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I've been most influenced by artists such as The Frames, Death Cab For Cutie, and The Decemberists.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am more than happy to be flexible within reason, if I have capacity on that date.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Sadly, I don't offer this service, but if you'd like a DJ set after the live sets, using my PA system, I'd be happy to discuss this. This would incur extra costs.

How much time do you need to set up?

I need approximately 45 minutes to set up, sometimes more if the venue is particularly difficult to access.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely, you may.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I'll bring my own PA system including speakers, microphone and extension leads etc. I'm also happy to use bits that are already there if it makes the running of your event more smooth.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, I am more than happy to learn requests if given enough notice.
