I commissioned Finn to provide musical entertainment for a elderly charity tea dance to partly celebrate the coronation but mainly to enable older people and people with physical and mental illness including dementia to have a lovely experience. Finn is a very talented pianist with an ability to play music from the 1940s to the present day. He was a real professional and everyone joined in to their ability. I can't recommend him enough. Thank you Finn. You made many elderly people smile today

Finn recently visited the Castle to play piano for one of our most recent weddings. He was very efficient at both setting up and packing away. He played a mixture of music which all guests looked to thoroughly enjoy. Highly recommended.

Finn! What a dream you are, your music is amazing, your catalogue of songs is literally unbelievable - no idea how you do it, and your personality is just lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and you brought such a lovely, classy, welcoming feel to our day. Thank you so much again, Laura and Jonathan xxx

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

**My USP!** Mingling with guests, collecting dozens of requests and playing them for the following set. I’ve a vast, eclectic repertoire and play freely depending on the atmosphere e.g. I can change the style/vibe/feel of a piece if there’s a shift in mood at the venue. I can sit and play for 2-3 hours, without a break and no gaps between each piece.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Venues for last year include... - The Grand Lodge, Oaklands - Allerton Castle - Ravenswick Hall - Birdsall House - Duncombe Park - Howsham Hall - Hazlewood Castle - The Priests House - Danby Castle - Carlton Towers - The Farrier (monthly) - Goldsborough Hall - Rossington Hall - Cave Castle - Riseborough Hall - Thirsk Lodge Barns - Lots of private dos!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Any and all - anyone making music reminds me how important creativity is for the soul

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I play lots of private events for for high profile clients - but I'm not dropping any names!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just keep me posted as best you can and I'll do my best to accommodate!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No

How much time do you need to set up?

About 15 Minutes. 25 mins if you chancy a chat!

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

As long as its in in good condition and in tune, of course!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Absolutely. I bring a smart and compact electric piano with an inbuilt stand and felt cover. This also includes a PA system to project the sound.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely! A wedding ceremony for example, its essential that specific songs are chosen for the aisle walk, signings and exit. I brainstorm these songs with couple via video call whilst sat at my piano! On other occasions, let me loose and mingle with the guests! I'll chat, take 50-60 requests and play from for the following set!
