About Ffion Lowe

Singer based in London. Available for restaurants/bars/pubs with a repertoire that can be tailored to the needs.
Singer (soprano)
London

Hi everyone! I am a singer originally from Wales, now based in South London. I have a very versatile repertoire; I particularly enjoy performing jazz, funk, and the blues, however have gained ample experience as a wedding singer singing acoustic pop and rock, country, and musical theatre, too. The soft, folk timbre to my voice makes every song sound unique, with the acoustic backing tracks I sing along to helping to detach my covers from the original songs. I have sang ant several events at the Celtic Manor, the ICC, Swansea Arena, and the Brangwyn Hall, and am currently recording the vocal underscoring for an upcoming feature film - keep your eyes peeled! My other musical skills include playing the harp, which I have done semi-professionally for 10 years, and composing music/writing songs.

Myself and Andy would like to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding in Norton House From start to finish the service you provided was exemplary and extremely professional, you responded to my booking request very quickly and kept in touch throughout the whole process, putting me at ease (as you can imagine I was quite stressed with all the planning 😊) You provided an eclectic list of songs, of which I was able to choose from, you even offered if there were any songs that weren’t on the list that you would learn them, which I thought was fantastic When the big day arrived, I cannot explain what it was like listening to you play and the whole atmosphere that you created on our special day, again playing everything that I wanted….you are so talented The feedback I received from the guests was brilliant and you helped to make our day absolutely perfect We can’t thank you enough and will be definitely recommending you Thanks again Joe and Andy xxx

We booked Ffion and Emma as a harp duo for our wedding last August. They were super attentive in the run up to the event, checking if everything was ok and discussing song choices etc. They created my favourite song on the harp as I walked down the aisle and it was absolutely perfect for the ceremony. They also played in the drinks reception and Ffion did some acoustic solo singing. It was subtle and beautiful, we didn’t want anything too loud or distracting but they were beautifully in the background and all the guests commented on how lovely they were. I would highly recommend the girls for any formal booking.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients particularly enjoy my friendly yet professional nature as this truly helps put them at ease during the stressful planning of big events. I have also received excellent reviews based on my talent, with the acoustic sound from the harp a roaring success amongst audiences.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have had the honour of performing at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales on several occasions. I have also performed at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Bristol Channel Yacht Club, and at Swansea Museum. Other venues include The Heart of the Valleys Show, Norton House, Barn Brynich, Marriott Hotel Swansea, and many more!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try my best to be as flexible as possible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know!

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually arrive 1-1.5 hours ahead of the event in order to set up, tune my harp, and warm up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

During our consultation we will discuss the set list to ensure the music creates the best atmosphere tor your event and to rule out any pieces you would not like to be performed.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes of course! I encourage requests as it makes events more personal. A small service fee is charged for the cost of the music (£7 per song).
