Our Restaurants New Years Eve could not have gone better and Face The Strange are a huge part to thank for that! A real mix of talent that suited every musical need, the band were flexible in what to perform and when to perform and communication with Andy up until performance was brilliant! Thank you 🙌🏻

What an amazing party we had with Face the Strange!!! They were incredible - and more than happy to tailor their set to our specific tastes. The muse medley was a big hit with our guests and we really appreciated them staying to DJ after the live music was finished. They were very professional - setting up mid party with very little fuss and no surprises as we had had detailed communication with them prior to the day. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!!

Face the strange were an amazing covers band. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day epic. Everyone of our friends came up to us with positive comments, 'best covers band I've ever seen', 'the female vocalist was incredible', 'the atmosphere was absolutely insane'. The crowd was wild for 2 whole hours, the dance floor was never empty. We were blown away with how talented the band were and at a reasonable cost. Would definitely hire again 10/10. Thanks for everything guys.

We booked Andy and the band to play at our Dads joint wake/70th birthday party, a strange occasion for some maybe, but from the first communication after booking, they were so understanding and open to our request of playing some of Dads favourite songs. On the night itself they went down an absolute storm, incredible performance that had everyone on the dancefloor and was talked about for days after, could not be more pleased we managed to book them! Super nice people too, we're already thinking of the next occasion we can book them for! Thanks for everything A+++

Face the Strange absolutely rocked our wedding! We've had so many comments on the day and since about how awesome they were. We know of people who went away with their details to book for their own events. They played 4 piece rock sets including songs learned by request, 2 piece acoustic sets also including requests, and served as wedding DJ for the evening do inbetween sets. Every song they played they just nailed it, you could feel the energy they put into it and the talent on display was exceptional. For the final evening set in particular they knew what to play to get people up dancing! Sweet Child O Mine in particular was a hit! Andy was a pleasure to deal with organising everything and the whole group were extremely professional and friendly.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.”

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

vOur PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
