Erin Jones is a professional musician based in Ruthin, North Wales. After completing a degree in Music in Cardiff, Erin has played with a number of projects in the South Wales. Erin's recent projects include 70's Disco band 'Slipped Disco', popular wedding band 'Soul Lotta Funk' and original music by 'N'famady Kouyaté'. What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients love my warm and friendly presence and perfect choice of songs for their event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in many wedding venues across Wales and England as well as festivals such as Boomtown Fair and Greenman Festival.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder and Jeff Buckley.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have sang on the main stage of the Wales Millenium Centre in Cardiff and at the Chai Wallahs stage at Greenman Festival!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as the PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for my live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance/create a relaxed atmosphere/produce the right ceremony ambiance and have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure I find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically - unless you request an external player such as a pianist to accompany me.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
