Customer questions
Do you have different line-up options?
We can perform to backing tracks or to a live accompanist & have over 60 members, so can provide as few or as many singers as you require.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Depending on how big the changes are, we should always be able to accommodate any amendments if given enough notice.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We can certainly play music from an iPod between any sets, but we don't provide a DJ service per se, I'm afraid.
How much time do you need to set up?
If singing to backing tracks, no real set up time is required (even if bringing our own PA system), but a brief soundcheck for levels would be ideal, so we like to arrive at least 1hr before any performance. If singing to live accompaniment, then depending on the instrument, a brief set up & soundcheck would be required - again 1hr at least should suffice.
Can you roam around while you perform?
We have performed 'flash mobs' before, where we have begun singing from different areas within a space & then continued as we venture to a final position where we end up all singing together (see our flashmob proposal video as an example). We are very versatile & will always try to accommodate any creative vision, where possible. We love a challenge!
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
As long as we are given enough time to factor any selections into our weekly rehearsal schedule (to ensure they're fresh in our minds again & 'performance ready'), you are more than welcome to pick songs from our set list for us to perform at your event.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Our portable PA system is included in our quote & can run from the built-in rechargeable battery (for 2hrs before needing recharging) or by being plugged into a mains supply.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If given enough time to prepare, we can indeed learn specific songs & create bespoke arrangements on request to ensure your event is extra special & personal. We have done this many times before for weddings, memorial services, funerals & even private parties. There'd be a small fee to cover the additional time spent arranging & learning this of £25 p/song.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our clients love that our repertoire consists largely of 'positive message' songs that are upbeat & that we always deliver them in a way that makes any audience want to sing, clap & dance along. We can also bring a tear to your eye with a sentimental ballad, when necessary.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Besides traditional gospel artists, we are very influenced by contemporary pop singers who have incorporated gospel harmonies or choirs into their songs & performances such as Mariah Carey, John Legend, Emeli Sande & Sam Smith. We are also very inspired by films that feature gospel choirs such as Sister Act 2, The Fighting Temptations & The Preacher's Wife.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
We performed as the backing choir on The X Factor live shows for the whole of the 2015 series including at the Wembley Arena final. We were also the choir that performed in Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" video. Our biggest headline show was our own concert at The Jazz Cafe.
