Hi! I’m Emma and welcome to my page, I’m so excited to have you here. I am a wedding and events singer based in the lovely Exmouth, Devon. I believe music is one of the most essential components of your big day. Get it right and you will have memories that will last a lifetime - every time a special song comes on the radio you will smile and be filled with the most amazing reminders of the beautiful time you and you guests had. For me, being a wedding singer is not a job - its a passion and something I feel extremely lucky to be able to do. Every wedding I get asked to perform at is special and I always ensure I give my all to make each wedding unique. I work with my clients to provide the perfect package for their special day, taking into account their unique tastes in music and finding a way to weave those into the day. I know every wedding is bespoke and every client is different. I aim to be on hand to help your day run smoothly and will always help out where I can as for me, the most important thing is you and your day. I have a number of lovely testimonials available for you to view but some lovely comments I have received on the day include: 'I genuinely thought a CD was playing until I spotted you halfway through your set', 'you made my wife cry - that was a special song for us and you sang it so well', 'I feel like you really just understood us as a couple'. I have a history of singing throughout my life. I've been in local panto's as a child and entered various talent shows over the years. I have been part of an acoustic duo, close harmony 1940's trio, been part of various wedding and functions bands including the wonderful Loose Cannons 13 piece soul and funk band who I still sing with now. I have performed at a huge number of weddings over the years and always loved singing for lovely clients on the most special day of their lives. Nothing seemed to match how I felt when singing at weddings and so Emma Ramm Entertainment was born. Please do get in touch if you would like more information or would like to chat through your plans and wishes - I do love to talk weddings :) Thanks, Emma

We met Emma at the westpoint wedding fair. She was so lovely and welcoming and we booked her straight away once we got home! She has a fabulous voice and her contribution really made our wedding day perfect. The booking process was really easy and Emma was always at the end of an email to reply quickly to any questions we had. We had Emma do x2 45 min sets during our drinks reception, this felt like the perfect time and it made such a difference to the vibe of the reception by having live music. It felt more upbeat and fun. Emma was great and was able to sing all the songs we requested as well as making a fabulous playlist of her own. All of our guests commented on how fantastic she was and how lovely the music was, we would always recommended having live music during some portion of your day! We even had guests up dancing to the music which was fabulous and was everything we wanted from the reception! Emma was just amazing all throughout the process and we can’t thank her enough for the part she played in making our wedding magical! She was always there at the end of the phone, email, FaceTime and we were made to feel loved and confidant in her all throughout. Anybody who’s considering booking her, 100% go and do it! It’s one of the best decisions you will make for your wedding! Thank you so much Emma

Emma, I just wanted to thank you for the most magnificent performance on Saturday. It was the highlight of the day and I am so pleased you were able to fit us in. We had so many compliments on you from our guests and you really lifted the mood on a rather rainy day.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I know how to create a vibe! Whatever vibe my client is looking for - party, romantic, chilled or a bit of everything, I will create it! I work behind the scenes with my clients to really understand their musical taste and always try to include as much of what they love as I can whilst keeping the vibes exactly how they want them to be.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at a number of wedding venues in the south west such as: Rockbeare Manor, Froginwell Vineyard, Bickley Mill and Upton Barn. I have also performed at corporate events for the NHS, Devon Chambers and more.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Amy Winehouse - her voice has always been a massive influence and I’m a huge lover of jazz. Duffy - another unique voice that really inspired me as a teenager. I have always been a fan of big or unique voices

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem at all - just contact me as soon as you can. I am as flexible as I can be and will absolutely work with you to make changes as long as I don’t have another booking.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I can play music through my speaker no problem at all. I have a range of different playlists or can connect to a Spotify playlist you prefer.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour prior to start time to allow for a quick soundcheck. As soon as my speaker is up I can begin playing music from a playlist for you to help set the atmosphere and get your guests vibing before I begin.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes absolutely. I am happy to be led by you as the clients. I always give my opinion of what works and what guests usually enjoy and will help to steer you if you have a particular vibe in mind.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely. I bring everything.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn’t included in my song list I am happy to learn it for you if it is part of a package booking. I include at least one request song with every package. Any additional songs are charged at £30 per song to account for rehearsal times etc.
