With classical-training and over 13 years of live performance experience behind her, Emily brings an unforgettable ambiance perfect for luxury events and weddings. She specialises in soul, lounge and jazz repertoire and is often compared to the likes of Eva Cassidy, Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse. Emily is available to perform as a soloist with backing tracks or can offer a duo with a guitarist and trio with an added percussionist (cajon/small kit). All PA and gear is provided and simple stage lighting can also be brought on request. Outside of this, Emily has provided management for performances at some of the most recognisable luxury venues across London, Paris and Oslo (including Grosvenor House, One Great George Street & Palais Garnier/Paris Opera House). This has given her an expert eye for attention to detail and she thrives on providing seamless communication from conception to delivery and performance.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have a really eclectic taste and think so much can be learnt from the greats of any genre, but there is a special spot reserved in my heart for soulful female vocalists and songwriters such as Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

With so many moving parts, time changes are to be expected when planing events. To put my clients minds at ease I block out 2 hours on either side of my designated arrival and departure times to allow for any unexpected changes. If the time changes are outside of this window I will always do what I can to accommodate them, please notify me of these asap.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I am more than happy to play background music in between my sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

I ask my clients for at least 45 minutes to set up and soundcheck.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely, I love to make sure you hear all of your favourites from my rep-list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring all of the necessary equipment to perform at events. All of my gear is PAT-tested and can be used wirelessly - perfect for outdoor settings.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I love seeing my clients faces light up when I play the song that means the most to them, so please do ask me if there is a specific track you would like to hear. In the instance of this needing a custom arrangement, there will be a small surcharge.
