Elspeth Mary Beatrice Attwood

Elspeth Attwood studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London and subsequently with Jacqueline du Pre and Christopher Bunting. She made her London debut in 1983 as one of twelve artistes to take part in the Young Musician's series. This led to three further recitals at the same venue. She has given many recitals in Great Britain and Europe and has broadcast for several northern radio stations in Yorkshire and Aberdeen. Since 1981 Elspeth has taught music at Bedford High School until its recent closure in 2012. She now teaches at Bedford Girl's School and as a private tutor. In her spare time she enjoys walking and long distance running.
