Customer questions

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Hootenannys Brixton, 02 Academy Bournemouth, Brighton Dome, Concorde 2, Komedia, Bournemouth International Centre, The Grand Hotel Brighton, Shooshh, many festivals including Green Man, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, Shambala, Nozstock, Tropical Pressure, Scallywags, Small World, Elderflower Fields, Bimble Bandada, Rhythm Tree and Kendal Calling.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I think the highest profile gig I have performed was support for the Gipsy Kings. I have also supported Alborosie, The Skatalites, Misty in Roots, Horace Andy, Johnny Osborne, Johnny Clarke, Easy Star All Stars and Natty with the reggae band Samsara Collective. I have also warmed up the crowd at a private event before Fatboy Slim's set.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be as flexible as possible and if timings change a little in the run up to your event, then just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate this.

How much time do you need to set up?

If I am playing with a DJ, I usually arrive 30 minutes before performing, as I only need to plug in my microphone and get my sax out! If I am doing a solo set and bringing a PA I arrive at least an hour before performing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course and I am always happy to liaise with you to see if there are any particular songs you would like that are not on my set list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

If I am playing with a DJ I just bring my wireless microphone so I can roam around the crowd and of course my sax. If I'm doing a solo set I have a PA (sound system) that I bring.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes I am more than happy to take song requests.

Elizabeth performed a set in our garden with us watching from inside due to lockdown. Not only was she amazing for helping make my girlfriends birthday special, but she was also a brilliant sax player! We had so much fun and will definitely book again. 100% recommended. Thank you
