"Simply elegant, superbly crafted, sumptuously melodic jazz" (All About Jazz) I am an award-winning Italian-born saxophonist, singer, pianist and composer currently based in brighton. I'm grateful for a brilliant active career as an original artist: her albums The Cutty Sark Suite (2020) and Growing Roots (2022) were received with raving reviews by All About Jazz, The Jazz Mann, Jazzwise and Jazzviews among others. She played in UK and international events such as Bremen Jazzahead!, EFG London Jazz Festival, Brighton Jazz Festival, Sidmouth Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Live. Her third album will be released in July 2025, with a release party at Toulouse Lautrec London. At the same time, I have extensive experience playing for events and functions (Miss and the Demeanors, Angel and the Bad Men, Madz and the Martians, Monkey See Monkey Do, Sloth In The City). Whatever your requirement, I can put together a great set of covers and originals spanning from ECM jazz, jazz standards, reinterpreted funk, motown, pop and folk. Formats I am happy to offer are: - Duo: soprano sax and acoustic guitar/piano - Trio: the above plus double bass/electric bass - Quartet: soprano sax, piano/acoustic guitar, double bass/electric bass, drums

Sloth in the City are a fantastic combination of folk and jazz with an authentic Italian twist. As well as both being extremely talented musicians, Sloth in the City are a real treat.

Whilst some duos stick to a traditional & tried and tested route, Sloth In The City have avoided that. They have chosen a hip approach to their covers and original set! Not a ligh hearted approach either! They are here to play... to give a new listening experience... a must see in the LIVE! Unique in all aspects.
