Elisabetta Accorsi's profile picture
Saxophonist
London

I am an Italian multi-instrumentalist, with a focus on Saxophone. Now based in London to finish my Master in Saxophone at Goldsmiths after a Pgdip at Trinity Laban. Playing saxophone since age 8, I studied classical saxophone along with piano. Outside the Conservatoire I have always played in jazz or rock bands. I made two albums with an Italian progressive band called "Psicosuono" (check the link below), and now I am playing in a jazz acoustic duo called "Sloth in the city" (check the link below) along with my own jazz quartet paying my compositions. My versatility has helped me to play with different musicians from classical to jazz to folk background. Besides, I can also sing and so I will be able to do backing vocals if needed.

Sloth in the City are a fantastic combination of folk and jazz with an authentic Italian twist. As well as both being extremely talented musicians, Sloth in the City are a real treat.

Whilst some duos stick to a traditional & tried and tested route, Sloth In The City have avoided that. They have chosen a hip approach to their covers and original set! Not a ligh hearted approach either! They are here to play... to give a new listening experience... a must see in the LIVE! Unique in all aspects.
