Nell Warner is in her third year studying Music at Homerton College, Cambridge. She has played the roles of 2nd witch/spirit in Handel’s Dido and Aeneas (MagSoc and CUOS); Inez in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Gondoliers and Kate in Pirates of Penzance; the Roasted Goose in Mark Wilderspin's 'The Little Match Girl' (St Paul's Girls' School); and Madame Giry in a concert performance of Lloyd-Webber’s Phantom of the Opera (West Road). She has also performed in the chorus in Cambridge productions of Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen (CUOS); and in Mozart’s The Magic Flute (CUOS) and Don Giovanni (CUOS). She sings as a choral volunteer with the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge, under Graham Ross, with whom she has been a soloist in Bach’s B Minor Mass and a staged performance of Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb with the Aurora Orchestra. She is an alumnus of The National Youth Choir of Great Britain and Rodolfus Choir, and has participated in a masterclass with Ann Murray, DBE. Alongside her choral singing, Nell has directed the Homerton College Choir; sings in an all-female vocal a cappella group, often performing her own arrangements; and is part of an early music consort. She is currently taught by Nicola-Jane Kemp.
