Drums and Drones were fantastic from start to finish. They were very professional and offered ideas on how we could use them more on the day. They also managed to find a replacement Bagpiper at shirt notice when the original had fallen ill which was very reassuring! Highly recommended!

We had Ross & Ailise for a Glasgow store launch, and they were so professional and welcoming. There was a last minute change where they needed to adapt to where they were performing, and they did it brilliantly. They were proactive at finding ways to engage with customers at the event, always with a smile on their face, and happy to pose for photos with everyone. Thank you so much to them both! Highly recommend.

Well, what can I say..... Ross and Ailise you are both absolutely incredible. You both really made our wedding so special. You looked so smart and the music you played was brilliant, exactly what we wanted. As soon as I heard you playing while I was getting ready I had goosebumps and butterflies in my tummy. You are both so friendly and nothing was ever too big an ask. Communication was easy and you gave us everything we could have wanted. Everyone has commented on how good you were and what a special touch it was to our day. We can't thank you enough and would 100% recommend you to anyone. Thank you again for everything.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem, we are flexible and can adapt to changes in timings on the day. Unlike other Bagpipers who leave as soon as their slots done, Drum+Drones stays until we've played at the right moment during your event. We won't let you down!

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive early to set up and tune our instruments off-site so we don't spoil the surprise. We usually need around 30-minutes before the start of your event, which is included in every quote. We'll text your event planner to let them know that we've arrived and are ready to go.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, we have a list of 100+ tunes ranging from traditional to pop which reflect the atmosphere needed for any moment during your event. You can choose to leave the set list up to us which we can adapt on the day or chat to us and hand-pick the tunes you would like. We also take song requests too!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, of course. The beauty about our instruments is that they don't require electricity or a specific space to play. We also bring along a photographer and a tripod to record videos of us playing at your venue to send to you after the event. All included for free as part of our quote!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, we take song requests and can learn them for your event. There are 100s of tunes that we know so check with us to see if we may already be able to play it.
