Hello! I am a professional violinist and began my classical training at the age of 3. By the age of 8, I was performing professionally in folk groups in California. I have also performed in the orchestras and chamber groups in the USA and UK, in folk groups and as a soloist. In 2019 I performed in a duet which toured the UK, USA and Mexico and was awarded a special recognition from the government of Cocula, Jalisco, Mexico for my contributions to Mariachi music. I come from a Mexican-American background and so Latin music will always be close to my heart, however I love playing across different genres to create a special mood to suit any occasion and to delight guests from all backgrounds. I now reside in England and my speciality is playing fun and diverse sets of Latin, Gypsy, Folk, Pop and Classical music. I am extremely adaptable and can learn any song by ear, so special requests are very welcome! I am also a member of the LGBTQ+ community and I adore playing proposals and weddings for my fellow LGBTQ+ friends - so if you are looking for an open and inclusive violinist, then you are in the right place! As well as performing I am also a composer and songwriter and recordings have been published through Bitterscene Records, Wrong Way Records and Roadkill Records. I have hundreds of live performances under their belt and years of experience performing at weddings, festivals, corporate events and on live TV and radio, nationally and internationally - anywhere from the big stage at a festival through to your more intimate settings.
