Erskine has 36 years of playing and studying the music of the pipes, and as a trained classical musician, his pipes are always perfectly in tune and his sense of musicality brings a life to the tunes that is uncommonly heard. He began age 7 and competed in pipe bands throughout his teens, winning the European and World championships in the lower divisions multiple times. David went on to study classical music after school at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has been a professional multi instrumentalist, touring the stages of the world since graduating.
