Born in Hertfordshire, my career has taken me far and wide from the stages of hotels to the screens of households across the country. Music has always been a big part of my life and from the back end of school to the present day – music and entertaining continue to play a big part of every day... just “born to entertain” I suppose! What inspires me? A lot of music! From the Beatles to Bruno Mars and Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra to Stevie Wonder and Ed Sheeran, Rock, Pop, Swing, Classic, Country... you name it! I will never forget the time I spent on Stars In Their Eyes the hit ITV show which transformed folk into singing legends. No surprise I took on the incredible talents of Andy Williams when I graced the small screen! If you are looking for an act to entertain and bring the swing to your wedding then you have come to the right place! My show will engage you and your guests and lift the mood even higher as I perform songs from the rat pack era and other easy listening classics.

Dave was all we could have wished for - he created a very relaxed and upbeat atmosphere and interacted with the audience in a fun and friendly way, but not intrusive. We had a wide range of ages at our wedding and we had great feedback from everyone. We would highly recommend Dave and would certainly use him for other functions in the future..

Dave, thank you so much for entertaining our guests at our wedding 3-9/21, you were absolutely fantastic along with being reliable and personable. You made us feel special and a lot of our guests all commented on how much they enjoyed your act yiu really do appeal to all ages and was a fantastic way after the speeches to pick the mood up and get the evening party started! Dave Dean was tremendous at our wedding almost 13 years ago at The-Coed-Y-Mwstwr hotel. I stumbled across his advert by accident and was so glad I did! To think our family and friends still talk about our wedding years later and how he took every effort to learn a Frank classic “The way you look tonight” as our first dance. Have recommended many times xxx

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be as flexible as I can for all engagements. We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! Absolutely!. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.”

How much time do you need to set up?

Usual set up time would be 20-30 mins depending on venue size and equipment needed to provide the best possible sound.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely! After the final contact before the event we can discuss your song choices and dedications which always helps me to engage the guests and create a wonderful setting for the afternoon.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I always try to discuss the event venue size and sound effects to bring the right equipment on the day with lighting if needed.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes! Always a pleasure to learn a favourite piece of music for the day. It might be the happy couples fave or maybe the parents choice but it's always nice to sing someone's favourite song.
