I’ve not only spent more than half my life behind the decks 🎧 but I’m proud to be the longest-serving new music presenter at the BBC 📻. I’m also a musician, having played piano and keyboards since the age of 6 🎹. I’ve always had an ear for a hit and never failed to get a dancefloor pumping, which is how I've become the most-booked DJ in the UK for two years running ⭐. As well as hosting weekly shows on the BBC, I’ve also hosted takeovers with Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, Theo Johnson on 1xtra, outside broadcasts from the Hay Festival with Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2, and Lakefest at Eastnor Castle on BBC 6 Music. For nearly a decade, I chose every single song you heard on my local BBC station - from breakfast to drivetime, sport to the gardening phone-in - consistently attracting more than 100,000 weekly listeners 🎶. Since the pandemic, I’ve travelled the length and breadth of Britain (and across Europe) with my shows 🌍 — from Ibiza clubs to village halls, French châteaux to pub beer gardens, beach parties to in-store gigs, London riverboat cruises to countryside barn dances, woodland retreats to Wookey Hole caves, summer festivals to Christmas light switch-ons 🎉. ✨ What makes me different: 1. 🎥 Video DJing – I mix live visuals with the music.
