I’m DJ Mark-e-Ting, the performance-led DJ name of Mark Oborn, based in West Dorset near Bridport and the Jurassic Coast. I first started DJing in my early teens, and I bring decades of music obsession, dancefloor instinct, and live performance energy to every set. My style is built around Energy. Flow. Impact. Rather than simply playing background music, I create sets that build naturally through the night, reading the room and shaping the music so people want to move, stay, and enjoy the atmosphere. Expect a lively mix of dance, house, funk, EDM, remixes, classic favourites, and feel-good tracks, all blended with care and intention. As a competitive West Coast Swing dancer and modern jive teacher/coach, I understand phrasing, movement, timing, and what makes music work for real people on a real dancefloor.
