Additionally, Kammerer is Affiliate Artist with UNESCO RILA (Refugees Integration through Languages and Arts) at University of Glasgow. In her function as such, in 2024 she finished a Creative Scotland project for the Scottish Crannog Centre. Composing music for the new Iron Age village in Dalerb; co-created a choir composition for Maryhill Integration Network’s the Joyous Choir; and co-created a soundscape for a story performed for the opening ceremony. Throughout her career, Kammerer has graced stages across the UK, Scandinavia, Germany, and USA. Her performances have connected with diverse audiences at a remarkable range of venues. From intimate concerts, markets and festivals through to the Danish Royal Family and venues including the prestigious Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Elsinore Castle and the National Museum of Denmark. Kammerer is a Musicologist and Producer with a degree from Copenhagen University, and from MPW. Her forte is curating cultural heritage through music and performance. Specializing in the Viking Age, for the past 6 years she has collaborated with several museums and festivals with her bands Gjaldulei and Jotunger. In 2024 Kammerer also graduated from the OurWhisky Foundation Mentorship, which helps women progress in the whisky industry. This programme has helped her expands her work in curating whisky and brands through immersive events including musical performances and storytelling. In 2024 Kammerer is collaborating with Spirit of Speyside Festival (UK), Torabhaig, Copenhagen Distillery (DK), Pure Whisky, and Celtic Castle (GER).

Christine took care of arranging set up with the venue (Oran Mor) herself, was very friendly, punctual and had a fantastic voice. We would have no hesitation of recommending Christine to others.

Christine sang at my birthday party and completely won over a diverse audience, some liked the big rousing ballads and others the traditional scots songs. She created a real buzz, we´re still talking about her the day after. I personally like the way she interprets traditional Scottish songs, others like her version of Adele´s music. An accomplished performer.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always strive to meet my clients needs the best, and understand that timings can change when planning an event. If the timings change slightly on the day, please let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I would be happy to talk about creating a playlist which I could put on before and after my sets, and in the break. I want to help you create the best atmosphere possible for your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

My setup time depends on if there is a PA available at the venue or if I need to set up my own. It is usually between 30 minutes-1 hour including sound check.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes of course, as long as the piano is working and in tune, then I am happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My setlist consists of songs I have performed live throughout the past 6 years, but I am very quick at learning new material. I constantly update my setlist and welcome ideas for new songs. Should you have any requests I am happy to talk about how I can structure a repertoire that fits your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes I am, I can bring my own piano, guitar or lyre.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Even if a song is not included in my setlist, there may be a chance that I already know it. I will happily accomodate 2 special requested songs for your day. If you require more, there may be extra fees for extra rehearsal time.
