As Co-Festival Director of Tribal Earth, I’ve had the pleasure of working with The Devines for over 20 years. In that time, I’ve got to know them as truly brilliant musicians who bring so much to everything they do, whether performing fantastic sets, running workshops or getting everyone on their feet with the fabulous Ceili Heart Ceili Band. Whenever they host a ceili at Tribal Earth, the atmosphere is electric. The music is fantastic, the sound is amazing, and they bring such warmth, energy and professionalism to the festival. What I particularly love is the way they make ceili dancing so accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Their clear, friendly instructions mean that complete beginners can join in just as easily as seasoned dancers, and everyone has a great time. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. They’re superb musicians, lovely people to work with, and they know exactly how to get a crowd going. Can you perform covers?

Our repertoire is predominantly Irish Traditional Dance music and all the classic songs you might expect, Dubliners, Pogues, Sing alongs etc. We can include requests unto a point if given enough notice.

Do you have different line-up options?

We can provide 2,3,4 or 5 Piece line up

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are happy to accommodate changes in timings, with in reason

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide a Limited DJ service to include online playlists etc.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need a minimum of 1 hour to set up and sound check

Do you provide a caller?

We provide a very friendly and experienced Caller

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You are welcome to pick the songs and dances from our setlist. Our list is crafted from countless performances and learning what works best, so everyone dances and has a great time. More than happy to have a chat through and to find what works best for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

All the equipment we require for your event is included in our quote

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to learn requests prior to your event, if we are given sufficient time to do so and the request is achievable given the band line up. There might be an additional fee for this service, to cover rehearsals etc.
