Caz Devine

I’ve been performing, recording & teaching saxophones to a high level for over 35 years. Ultimately I play from the heart to bring joy to as many people as possible. My solo act gives me the opportunity to deliver this aim whilst crossing genres, improvising & delivering iconic sax lines all within the same performance! I joined my first band at 14, playing the Albion festival circuit & Glastonbury Festival along side several TV appearances. My journey continued into my late teens playing in both rock & blues bands throughout the UK, & during my 20’s a punk band (with sax!) saw me touring, Holland, Belgium & Germany. Within my 30’s & 40’s I played in various covers bands, performing in clubs throughout the UK, weddings, & military bases. I then started performing at Art Centres, Festivals and Ceili’s as part of our family band, an eclectic mix of instruments performing Traditional Irish music and contemporary songs, which led us to the opportunity of being amongst the first ever musicians to play at Buckingham Palace for a Royal reception.
