Customer questions
Do you have different line-up options?
We typically perform in a duo format, but are happy to accommodate other options. Due to our extensive repertoire and musical experience, we can easily expand to a full band line-up.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We want your event to run as smoothly as possible for you, so are happy to change our schedule to the best possible fit. We understand how events are always subject to changes in running order, so are happy to negotiate any additional sets/sets of variable times.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We typically provide background music for any performance we do, and this service is free of charge. We do this to keep the atmosphere alive when we are not performing, and are also happy to provide a DJ service to close the event. This service is an extra £50 per half hour.
How much time do you need to set up?
For any standard event, the set up time would be 45 minutes maximum. However we are can be flexible with set up times, and always ensure to be set up and ready to go well ahead of time. We will also happily factor in extra time for more complex set ups.
Can you roam around while you perform?
This is not something we would usually do on a standard performance. However if this is a required part of the event, we could certainly adapt for this.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Very much so. In fact, we would appreciate you sending over example songs that would allow us to pick a set list that would lift your event the most. We pride ourselves on our versatility, so are totally open to your suggestions.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Our P.A is plenty big enough for any standard duo situation. If your event requires a much larger setup, we could provide this for an extra negotiated fee.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
We will learn two requests per hour of music performed, at no extra fee. Each event should be special, and as such this service is happily provided. If you request a song we already know, then this will added to our set as a standard choice, allowing you to make further requests.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our clients love the high level of intricate performance, complimented by a lighthearted stage presence and a great deal of audience interaction. Above all, our clients love our ability to deal with requests, often revamping and re-arranging them spontaneously to suit the style of event.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
We take deal of influence from artists such as Rufus Wainwright and Neil Young, but are equally inspired by modern bands such as Kings Of Leon and The Killers. Our performances are a melting pot of all these influences, and from this list we have developed a very unique sound.
