Caitlin Macdonald Piping

Caitlin, a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, is a professional piper with her career involving performing, teaching, and composing. With over 20 years of experience, Caitlin has seen success as a competing piper both as a soloist and in pipe bands and has also performed globally. She has been in bands such as the Grade 1 ScottishPower Pipe Band competing at the top level of pipe bands and when younger she was in the innovative National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland. As well as performing Caitlin is a highly sought out teacher. She taught in the prestigious College of Piping before settling into her current work teaching in schools and private tuition. Caitlin has taught in specific workshops abroad also, and in addition to this is a keen composer. She’s an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated piper that strives for perfection in all aspects of her piping career so you can be rest assured that your needs will be met at a high level whether that be looking for a piper to play at your event or you would like to learn to play!
