Bruno Giacomazzi

Bruno Giacomazzi is a Brazilian-born guitarist, singer-songwriter, and bandleader based in the UK, known for his expressive blend of blues, rock, and fusion. He began his musical journey at age 12 and gained early recognition in Brazil after forming his first band, Stay Johnny, which won Best Band and Best Lead Guitarist at the Cult In Music competition. Shortly after, the band performed at the Cultura Inglesa Festival alongside artists such as Kate Nash and The Magic Numbers, and later opened for Capital Inicial in São Paulo to an audience of over 3,000. In 2017, Bruno relocated to London to pursue his solo career, performing extensively across the UK, including at iconic venues such as Cavern Club and Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues Bar. He released the EP Black Hat and several music videos, collectively reaching over 130,000 views online. Bruno holds a BA in Popular Music (First-Class Honours) from Middlesex University. In 2019, he launched Bruno Giacomazzi & The Foreigners, performing at major UK events including the Hanwell Hootie Festival and London’s Chinese New Year celebrations, followed by a televised interview on London Live. The band also toured Norway and appeared at the prestigious Notodden Blues Festival. In recent years, Bruno has strengthened his reputation on the international blues scene, performing alongside Robben Ford in London and jamming with Jared James Nichols. Since 2022, he has maintained a successful residency in São Paulo at St Paul’s Pub, regularly playing to sold-out crowds. In November 2024, Bruno recorded a seven-track studio album, marking the next chapter in his artistic development. With a strong live reputation, international experience, and deep roots in the blues tradition, Bruno Giacomazzi continues to establish himself as a distinctive voice on the modern blues and rock circuit.
