After many years of performing together in different ensembles with varying genres, the members of Bossa Dos Patos discovered a shared love of Brazilian music. The group name pays homage to the bossa nova standard ‘O Pato’ written by João Gilberto which is a mainstay of the band’s set list. Gigging regularly at Matt & Phred's, Baker's Vaults and playing a set at Green Island Festival in Hulme this summer, the band brings people together through the warmth and soul of Brazil’s most iconic sounds. From the smooth, laid-back grooves of bossa nova to the infectious beats of samba and the intricate charm of choro, Bossa Dos Patos play timeless classics from legends like Tom Jobim, João Gilberto, Jacob do Bandolim, Stan Getz and many more.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Let us know as soon as possible and if it's on the same day we can be flexible!

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually prefer at least an hour to set up before before the performance time just to make sure everything is working correctly for your even.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, we can provide roaming singer and saxophonist, just let us know in advance so we can bring appropriate microphones.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course! Feel free to pick any songs from our setlist.
