Bethany Reeves

Hello! My name is Bethany and I’m a pianist, organist and Music Director based in London. I have played for hundreds of events across the UK and in Italy, including playing for Hillary Clinton at the Vice President of the University of Oxford’s lodgings, and supporting Russell Watson at the Woodland Sessions in the Isle of Wight. I have been the Director of Music in St Mark’s English Church, Florence, Christ Church, East Sheen, and am the Founder and Director of the Solis Choir, a semi-professional choir based in London. I also founded and lead a choir for KEEN Oxford, a charity facilitating activities for young people with autism and learning disabilities. I recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with a Distinction in my masters in Piano Accompaniment, where I studied principally with Pamela Lidiard and Andrew West. Prior to that I studied at Brasenose College, Oxford, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Music with a first, and where I held organ and academic scholarships. I’ve played for over 50 weddings and funerals, both for the ceremonies/services themselves, and also for receptions beforehand and afterwards. I am available to play any genre, from traditional hymns and organ music, to popular piano covers and background jazz music, and would be happy to discuss music choices with you to make sure the music fits your event the best it can. I can also source soloists for you if you’d like, both instrumental and vocal. I’ve also played for many other events, private and public, providing foreground or background music, and in a variety of genres. I am also available as an accordionist, for example playing French accordion cafe music for an event, and as a cellist, saxophonist, clarinettist, and alto choral singer.
