I represent and am front man/lead singer of the Hertfordshire based Folk/Rock band Whinlatter.
Whinlatter are an English Folk/Rock band based in Hertfordshire. Formed in 2008, this young band have been writing their own material for years. Although they are currently unsigned, in 2012 Whinlatter received a contract offer from a well-known Berkhamstead-based record company, which they declined. The band contains three members: Jacob Buckton (vocals, guitar, mandolin, fiddle); Arthur Sawyer (vocals, banjo, guitar, tenor guitar); and Ryan Isbell (bass, backing vocals). The New Roots 2013 finalists have been gigging all over London and Hertfordshire for the past year, in venues such as the Islington Folk Club, Harrow Arts Centre, Nambucca, and The Orange Tree in Baldock, for events such as the St. Albans Folk Music Day, New Roots 2013 and Folkstock 2013. Whinlatter have also supported Mumford and Sons, Fleetwood Mac and Paul MacCartney in the Priority Room of London's O2 Arena. Their influences include Seth Lakeman, Mumford & Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show and Fleet Foxes. They are available for hire for all functions.
