Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a string quartet which can be split in to a string duo or trio.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

It is always possible to get in touch and sort the timing in advance or at least before the event should start so we can get at the venue in time. A short notice should be still agreed so it can allow time to make it possible at the venue.

How much time do you need to set up?

It would take a 15 minutes to set up stand and music plus chairs.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course a piece you like and many more. If you would like more pieces of the same interpret we should be announced in advance and so we can prepare it.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes we do, as we are an acoustic ensemble all we need are instruments, music and stands. Plus chairs which usually are provided by the host.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Ofcourse if there is a specific piece you would like us to perform we would like to know what it would be before the event and so we can manage to learn and in case is necessary find music for it if it is not available straightaway.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The most in our performance was appreciated the ensemble unity and performance excitement. Our ensemble has a specific name "Art-ludeus" it means the joy of art or the game of art (playful art) so it involves a performance art full of fun and joy. Any performance I guess should be enjoied first of all by the audience and the performers.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at the Chichester Cathedral in a lunch time concert. The Bosham church also had us for an evening concert. Other performances as in schools and requested recording at Abbey Road Studios etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our performance style was always encouraged by our own approach and individual view on music performed but as any ensemble we do consider other ensembles as inspiring. For instance considerring Borodin quartet and Prazak Quartet or Kronos string quartet.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Chichester Cathedral was a largest venue and with the most large audience we have played for.
