Arden Sky

Arden Sky are an excellent guitar and vocal duo offering interpretations of classic songs that are fresh but with a traditional feel. Their arrangements are true to the spirit of the originals but, because of their unique sound, offer something different to a more conventional jazz act. Danny’s guitar arrangements are fun and inventive and Joe’s vocals bright and powerful. Both are rooted in jazz traditions and draw on the best of the versions we all know and love, but are their own take with a modern touch, making them the perfect ‘old school’ jazz act for a 21st century audience. On a personal note I’d add that they are both lovely and professional guys and a pleasure to work with.

Arden Sky provided the perfect accompaniment to our wedding day. From initially booking them, they were so on board with what we wanted and provided the perfect package tailored to our needs, including an exceptional instrumental wedding party entrance. Their option to offer requests and learn new songs made the event feel unique and against the backdrop of their wide ranging and versatile repertoire of songs they put together a setlist for the event that got our guests up dancing and moving late into the night. They were also so helpful throughout the day, offering to make additional announcements such as cutting of the cake and evening buffet. They went above and beyond the responsibilities of a wedding band. I could not recommend Arden Sky highly enough for any event, in particular a wedding.
