Bagpiper
Edinburgh

My greatest hobby and skill: Piping has taken me all around Europe from London to La Fête de la Musique, Paris. Throughout the 10 years I have been playing the instrument, my extensive and broad repertoire has allowed me - with my Highland Bagpipes - to participate in a wide range of highly respected occasions, both formal and informal. Coming from a family of pipers in the city of Edinburgh, my passion and knowledge of the instrument is deep rooted, and I have always loved having to compete at a high level to stay at the top of my game. Previously being a member of different bands and a busking group, I find my greatest buzz coming from playing for the entertainment and need for others, no matter the occasion. Feeling most natural around the company of others, I enjoy taking requests and my respect for being asked to perform I feel is shown through my playing ability. From traditional music, to "fast paced Bonanzas" I'm sure to satisfy any need of rhythm.

I have never heard the pipes sound pleasant before, and that says a lot coming from an Englishman

Arch, Arch, Arch. What a player eh? Ladies and gents, a true inspiration to the piping world. I've played with this superb fellow many-a-time and I must say, how much of a pleasure it has been. Perhaps I will be graced with his music in the yonder years.

Archie is an absolute baller. Oh boy can he blow a pipe! I highly recommend this unique and skilled player. His fingering is truly astonishing, able to produce both slow and steady rhythms as well as fast paced bonanzas! Looking for a piper to fulfil your needs? Look no further that than the mighty Macplayer.
