Anna began her music career in high school in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she auditioned for several festival ensembles in both Arizona and elsewhere in the United States. She placed in the top five chairs of the Northwestern Arizona Regional Music Festival three consecutive years, and was awarded principal chair of the region in 2014. Also in 2014, Anna placed as principal chair of the Arizona All-State Band. Anna also performed in the Northern Arizona University Academy Orchestra throughout her high school career, serving as the principal flutist her final two years in the ensemble. Her final season, Anna was selected as a winner of the Concerto Competition, which invited her to perform as a soloist with the orchestra in the final concert.
Outside of Arizona, Anna auditioned for and was accepted to the Lyceum Philharmonic Summer Festival in Utah with conductor Kayson Brown. She performed with the ensemble in the summers of 2014 and 2015, placing principal in 2015. In October of that year, Anna performed with the highly selective NAfME National Honor Band in Nashville, Tennessee.
Professionally, Anna was hired as a pit musician for two productions given by the Flagstaff Light Opera Company, a local community theater. She played the scores of both "Fiddler on the Roof" and "A Little Night Music."
Currently, Anna is studying with Stephanie Jutt at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She spent her freshman year playing with the Wind Ensemble, conducted by Scott Teeple, and performing in several collaborative recitals and concerts. Anna was invited to play in voice recitals, contemporary music performances, and with the UW Chorale as a soloist. She also programmed her own chamber music recital in April.
