Chasing Vinyl is a dynamic and professional acoustic duo based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Consisting of Anita and Fede. This stripped down, acoustic driven duo is fuelled on a love for music both old and new. Prior to joining forces, they have both worked on a variety of projects both worldwide and here in the UK. Anita has been singing professionally for over 15 years and in that time, she has worked in many areas of entertainment. Ranging from a solo cabaret singer and a tribute artist to a backing singer in a touring theatre show in the West End, Anita is a natural performer. She also fronted her own four piece corporate / wedding band for 4 years playing in venues such as Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, Turnberry Golf Course, The Balmoral Hotel and The Sheraton group of hotels, to name but a few. Now performing as a duo together, they are currently performing in and around Edinburgh and are available for weddings, bar and restaurant venues and corporate events. Anita came along to Tantallon Court to entertain home owners. She was fantastic and "pitched" the show perfectly. With songs from across several decades. She has a great voice and everyone had a fantastic afternoon. Would highly recommend.

Performers were excellent from start to finish. Anita was available to chat on the phone prior to the event and I felt immediately comfortable that I had the best people for the job. She designed a playlist around our wishes (Despite some tricky requests!). They set up in advance of time, the performance was excellent, the artists looked great and created a perfect atmosphere for our wedding reception. Payment was easy and could highly recommend these excellent musicians. I was happy that LMM facilitated me in finding Anita at such short notice prior to our event.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will try and work around your day, we understand times change during events so will do our best to be flexible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, no problem. You can run either your own playlist or we have lots of music we can play during breaks etc... A Dj option is available also on arrangement.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually around 30 mins - 45 mins

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Within reason yes. We try and build a suitable set for each event but very happy to play any favourites that you have.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, we have all of the equipment we need including sound and lighting rig if required. Star curtain is also an option space dependant. It is all fully PAT tested, We just need a power point.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes of course. We need at least 2 weeks notice to learn something new.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

That we are really easy going and adaptable. Everyone likes the feel good factor we offer during the show.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

At The Museum of Flight. Playing underneath the Concorde for a wedding, it was amazing!!!
