Brighton’s Alfie L.N brings a refreshing approach to your standard function set. A life-long fan of playing Pop, Soul and Disco, though eager to play any set suitable for your event or crowd from his extensive repertoire, you’ll not have a worry about the music from the moment he arrives until the end of your event. A fan of many genres of music, Alfie’s set is flexible to fit the coziest of Sunday afternoon’s, to the rowdiest of Friday evenings, whatever’s best for your event or venue. Whether the soulful approach of Amy Winehouse and Al Green or the roof-raising singalongs of The Killers and Robbie Williams, over 250 popular songs in at his disposal make his set easily malleable. A lifelong musician, Alfie’s repertoire is extensive and ever-growing. New songs are constantly being added to each setlist and an on-the-go approach to setlist curation can be taken depending on the mood of the room and your customer’s requests (or yours if you’ve heard Wonderwall one too many times!). Beginning his career playing in full band lineups, acoustic roaming bands, duos and trios around East Sussex and at weddings and corporate events around the UK as well as festivals and events, Alfie is more comfortable on stage than off. Alfie is as much enthused by an honest love song as a disco classic, or other floor filler having played aisle walks, first dances and sets up to three hours long at such events. Beginning playing locally only, his career as an events musician has now taken him from the most intimate of wedding drinks receptions to huge evening parties at specialist wedding venues around the UK to Mayfair venues for corporate events. Noted for his soulful, airy voice and cut-above singing accompanied by guitar and stomp box (a microphone inside a case providing a similar beat to a bass drum in a drum kit), Alfie has played shows as a solo artist at venues such as Brighton’s Concorde 2 and London’s Kentish Town Forum and Scala to crowds of up to 2,500 throughout his music career. He’s completed multiple UK tours as both a support act and headline artist throughout his years as a performing musician, selling out shows in Brighton, London, Bristol, Manchester and other cities alike. Alfie can play fully acoustic and supply P.A if required any night of the week and Duo / Trio lineups are available depending on your requirements or event.
