Alex is a brilliant and versatile keyboard player. He's very reliable and swift to respond. Available for weddings, parties, concerts, etc.

Alex's musical journey began as a chorister in the world-renowned King's College Choir. Besides the daily services, Alex performed in regular concerts, and sang every year for the world famous broadcast of A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve. His choristership at King's gave him the opportunity to travel the world and sing in many magnificent venues, such as Washington National Cathedral, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the Sydney Opera House, all before he was 13 years old. Currently a music scholar in the Lower Sixth at Tonbridge School, Alex performs with a number of choirs and ensembles. Outside of school, Alex can be found playing oboe, violin and percussion with a variety of local orchestras. Highlights have included Shostakovich's Leningrad Symphony and Britten's War Requiem with Tonbridge Philharmonic Orchestra and Dvořák's 8th Symphony with the Lydian Youth Orchestra (of which he is orchestral manager) on their tour to France in 2017. Alex also performed Haydn's 11th Piano Concerto with the North Downs Sinfonia in January of 2018. Alex is the Organist of St Lawrence Church, Seal Chart - a position which he has held since he began learning the organ, aged 14. As well as playing for the weekly services, Alex helps to direct the choir for the additional services during the liturgical festivals each year. Alex also deputises in several local churches on a regular basis, as well as playing for services at Tonbridge School every week, either on the 4-manual Marcussen and Søn organ, or on the Kenneth Tickell chamber organ. In addition to these services, Alex gives regular organ recitals in local churches. In 2018, Alex also accompanied the Cantate Choir in their Spring Concert: A Feast of Bruckner. In August 2019, Alex became an Associate of the Royal College of Organists, winning the prize for highest mark in the country in the practical exam. Alex founded the Tudeley Singers and the Orchestra of St Augustine in 2018. Since doing so, he has conducted them in a number of cathedrals around England (including Westminster Abbey, where he was the youngest person ever to conduct a service), and in several concerts, including works by Fauré, Duruflé and Britten. Alex has recently been appointed Organ Scholar of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, for the academic year 2020-21.

Thank you and congratulations for your exceptional organ playing on Sunday 23rd December. Your professionalism and artistry surely made the carol service the great success it was. Within a few moments of our rehearsal you had completely earned my trust and I could relax knowing that, whatever happened, you would be there to support the choir and make it sound at its best. This is a real gift for a musician, no matter how talented they are as an individual, to have developed and honed at such a young age and I congratulate you most sincerely. Your calm demeanour and your exceptionally supportive playing both in rehearsal and performance will surely earn you a long and fruitful career. Your choice of registration throughout was both tasteful and imaginative. I greatly enjoyed your congregational accompanying and your Quinney-esque flourishes were a delight, as were your voluntaries. It was a pleasure to meet you and hear you play and thank you again for all you did to make Sunday so musically rewarding, both for the singers and the congregation.

Thank you so much for all your input for the wedding today. We really did appreciate it. It was certainly an unusual wedding but a very happy one which was lovely.
