I invited Aine to play a solo slot in my ‘Push the Buttons’ concert at Union Chapel last December. The concert was a showcase to highlight the huge potential of the accordion in all genres of music. Aine was keen to involve loop pedals with her own composition for solo accordion and electronics. The result was a stunning mix of fine artistic playing by Aine, showing great technique but also a real command over the electronics side of the piece. The audience reception was rapturous and following the concert this was one of the most talked about parts of the program. A fine performance by a wonderful musician.

We hired Aine for our engagement party as we wanted something a little different. I grew up with my grandad playing the accordion and have always loved the instrument. It was perfect - something out of the ordinary but still with a lot of songs we knew and a few traditional Irish songs mixed in. Everyone was dancing from the first drink!
