Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Any time changes can be accounted for as long as enough notice is given beforehand.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Yes

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

None at all - my instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment. If it is raining then I will need full cover or to perform indoors as my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I am more than happy to discuss set lists and if there are any specific requests these can nearly always be completed as long as enough time is given to learn the piece!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes absolutely - as long as enough time is given to prepare the piece. If more than 3 new pieces are wanted then a fee for £30 is added to the price.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The ambience that the harp creates at weddings and functions is unparalleled. It creates atmosphere and the perfect setting for your special day.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Edinburgh Castle Royal Scots Club Caledonian Hotel (Waldorf Astoria)

Ada played recently at a family birthday party and her set was absolutely perfect. Her repertoire was combination of traditional, popular and requested material, all of which was delivered beautifully. She was punctual and brilliant at communicating throughout the booking process, making her set perfectly catered for our event, it felt like she really cared about delivering a personal service. I would recommend her for any event and we’d love to book her again in the future. She is the perfect feature to make any of your events special and memorable.

My husband and I enjoyed working with Ada very much to come up with the music that accompanied our wedding ceremony at Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh. Ada is a highly talented, very professional musician and a lovely human being. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We asked some guests what they thought and my brother said the following "Beautifully melodic and tranquil, perfectly captured the ambience of the setting and amplified the love in the room" - we couldn’t agree more, Ada played a key role in making our day so special.
