Amaris is a reggae revival cover band based in West London's Paddington district. The band is made up of a group of lifelong friends who hail back to the era of Reggae Revival Classics and share a passion for music production and live performances. The name "Amaris" means "promised by God" in Hebrew, and the band sees music as a powerful way to bring healing to the soul. Amaris's unique sound draws inspiration from early reggae artists such as John Holt, Dennis Brown, and the Mighty Diamonds. Their high-energy performances and engaging stage presence have earned them a loyal following since their launch in 2022. The band's focus on raising awareness for prostate cancer and other illnesses that affect the Caribbean & African community sets them apart from other reggae bands. Along with their performances, Amaris invites guest speakers from various charities and organizations to highlight the cause and encourage others to get involved. Amaris includes lead vocalist J Cass (Jeff Cassius), drummer Jah Son (Jason), keyboards/Backing Vocals (DaPaul) lead guitarist JazzMan 4 Christ (Floyd Parris), rhythm guitarist (Kenson Alexander) aka Smooth Groover, saxophonist Gee Sax (Glen John Baptiste), and bass guitarist (Peter Albert )aka Sharky P. As they continue to expand their musical genre and play more planned gigs in the coming year, Amaris is poised to make their mark on the reggae music scene and make a difference in the lives of those affected by such illnesses. Join us on our musical journey.

I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing performance you gave at TGIT last week. It was great to hear some of my favourite reggae tunes, I felt like I was back at a family function. It felt like home. It was lovely. You all brought such a great vibe!

Dear Amaris. On behalf of our entire family. Thank you so much for providing songs at my father's funeral. The lyrics of each songs were incredible and very meaningful. The band brought Beauty, Love, Peace and healing and it was very uplifting, and you brought comfort to all who gathered with us on the day. We appreciate your kindness, your personal wording, and your touches to each song. It was a great comfort. My brother and I appreciated the professional and sympathetic ways you worked your magic to help make the occasion extra ordinary and keeping dad memories alive. You dedicated the funeral in his honor, and it was truly a celebration of our father's life. Family, friends, and guests are still talking about how great it was to have you play at our dad's funeral. Thank you so much for your support. Love and God's blessings. Jerome and Kara Richardson
