I love gigging , whether it's a wedding or a show or a flashmob. Variety is the spice of life. I am a Geneva trumpet artist and Prize winning graduate from Leeds College of Music 1994) with many years experience. I play a wide variety of music from classical through to smooth jazz. I can tailor my playing to your requests/needs. I am a punctual, confident,smart, highly regarded professional trumpet player and vocalist. I love performing for events and very adaptable to any given situation. Over the years I have played with artists such as Kelis, Beverley Knight, The Drifters, Jimmy Osmond, George Macrae, Boo Radleys, Courtney Pine, King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, Big Joe Pleasure, Chris Bevington and Friends, Marcus Collins. I have also appeared on Sky TV in a new programme called Lazarus Project as a musician and in a feature film about Brian Epstein called Midas Man. Sessions for Lockdown Media ( Lidl TV advert, Lost tapes Vol 2, Sun,Sea and Selling Houses, Austrailan TV), Scott Ralph ( Robbie Williams, Clean Bandit etc), Paul Cobbold ( Rockfield studios- Pogues, Clannard etc). Many theatre shows such as: Rush,Elvis World Tour, Death of a Salesman RSC, Chicago Blues Brothers, Sinatra and Friends European Tour, Sinatra Centennial Show, Johnny Cash Roadshow, Let's Hang On, Frankie The Concert, The Story of Swing, King of Reggae. Really made my 1920s theme night go down well. Made a good atmosphere and I would recommend to anyone to book.

I can't rate The Moochers highly enough. They did an amazing job and worked really well with the dancers. Kathleen's voice is beautiful and band sounded amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough - definitely book these guys if you are having a 1920's / Great Gatsby themed event, you will not be disappointed.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I have a very nice sound and try to put as much expression and feeling into every performance

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in many venues ranging from village halls through to concert halls and cathedrals

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Maurice Andre is my main classical influence and Chet Baker is my main jazz influence. Both players have gorgeous sounds even though their styles are different

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I played with R and B artist Kelis at a major festival in front of 15000 people. Amazing gig.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try and be flexible. Please let me know in advance if possible

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes if needed

How much time do you need to set up?

30 mins max

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course. I have examples on here already but can try and sort out bespoke requests

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes as I usually play at weddings acoustically wherever possible

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes I do take special requests. There is a small charge involved for the extra work depending on length of piece etc. Contact me for further details
