Outstanding quartet, we really couldn’t have asked anything more from these guys! They even found music for a song that was difficult to get hold of…above and beyond. All our guests loved the music and the way you guys played made our day extra special…..thoroughly recommend!! Mrs and Mrs Camden-Robins

Absolutely outstanding is how we would describe this group. We ordered them to play during our wedding ceremony and they did not disappoint. The music was flawless and they played every song that we requested at the right time. Keep up the good work ladies and gents! Mr & Mrs Haylor

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are personable and easy to deal with, and we really care about providing the very best music for your special day! One half of our quartet are husband and wife - they got married abroad last summer with a string quartet providing live music. So we really are passionate about helping you create the most special memories and atmosphere for your event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Blenheim Palace, Blackwell Grange, Foxhill Manor, Merriscourt, Birtsmorton Court, Warwick Castle, Natural History Museum, Coombe Abbey, Draycote Hotel, Hotel Du Vin Birmingham, Spencer House London, ICC Birmingham, Nailcote Hall, Lemore Manor, Symphony Hall, Moxhull Hall, Dodford Manor, Birmingham Council House, Iscoyd Park, Mythe Barn, Packington Moor

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

...too many!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have performed as a string quartet in Birmingham Symphony Hall. We have performed live on BBC Radio 3 as part of the Royal Shakespeare Festival. Our musicians have performed with Madness, Dionne Warwick and Steve Hackett, and also performed as musicians for live theatre shows at Stratford Upon Avon, for Royal Shakespeare Company.

Do you have different line-up options?

We perform as a String Quartet or Trio. 440 Quartet vs 440 Trio: Exactly the same variety of music can be performed by the Trio and Quartet and there is actually not much of a difference in overall volume. However, the quartet produces a richer and fuller sound texture because of the fourth part.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This is absolutely fine and we please ask you to let us know as soon as possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

We are there ready to sit up at least 30 minutes before we start to play. It doesn't take us long to set up and we are very discreet!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course! Please feel free to pick a playlist for any point in your day. For weddings, we recommend 8-10 pieces/songs for your guests arrival to your ceremony, 1 for your entrance, 2-3 for signing and 1 for exit. Then 15-20 pieces/songs for a standard drinks reception.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes. We work with an arranger and we can find specific pieces to perform for your special day. Our most recent request was Secret Smile - Supersonic.
