Soprano Zoë Freedman's recent highlight was her debut at the Barbican in Stockhausen's Stimmung. Her operatic performances include Priestess/Siren in Purcell’s King Arthur (Dartington International Summer School Advanced Opera), First Lady in The Magic Flute (Opera at Bearwood), Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro (Thames Philharmonia, and Dulwich Opera Company), Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Dulwich Opera Company, and Hornton Chamber Orchestra), Papagena in Die Zauberflöte (St Paul’s Opera), Diana in Cavalli’s La Calisto (Hampstead Garden Opera), and opera scenes at Trinity Laban: Nanetta (Falstaff), Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier). She is a member of the Philharmonia Chorus and has sung in the opening week of Hamburg’s new Elbphilharmonie, in Valencia, the Royal Festival Hall, and Royal Albert Hall. Zoë studies with Mary Plazas. She received a Distinction for her Master’s at Trinity Laban in 2014, where she studied with Alison Wells. During her time at Trinity she was a finalist in the Elisabeth Schumann Lieder Competition,. She also has a First from the University of Warwick in English and Theatre Studies.
