Viv May is a Multi-Genre International DJ, Presenter, Singer and all-around entertainer known not just for her signature vocals but skills behind the decks. A fan of music across the spectrum from #HouseToHipHop you can expect to hear nothing but the freshest sounds in her sets. For the past five years, Viv has kept dancefloors and stadiums filled from London to Ibiza, playing at iconic events such as the UEFA Women's EURO 2022, where she expertly mixed commercial and classic tunes to entertain a 30,000-capacity stadium, of mixed-aged football fans. Viv is the go-to DJ for exclusive events hosted at the Serpentine Galleries, Kensington Gardens and the historic Somerset House where she was the official after-party DJ for the Somerset House 2022 Summer Series with American Express, featuring the likes of John Legend, Mabel, Carly Rae Jepson, Tems, SG Lewis and more. A resident across a number of luxury five-star hotels in London – each week, you’ll find Viv playing at venues including the Oblix at The Shard, The Dorchester Rooftop and St. James’ Court, A Taj Hotel. She has also provided jazzy house, chillout and soulful house sounds at the infamous W Hotel and South Place Hotel. With a special place in her heart for Ibiza, Viv has played at legendary spots like Ibiza Rocks, and The Paradiso Art Hotel and provided music at sunset on Ibiza’s Tulp Beach Bar. Supplying the groovy backdrop to brand events, Viv has DJ’d for global brands such as Bobbi Brown, NARS Cosmetics, Skechers, Oatly, Red Bull and the official London Coffee Festival to name a few. Her love for everything from old-school funk, soul and disco to commercial and soulful house and cutting-edge urban and afro music, means that her audience gets to not just relive the “oldies and goodies” but they’re the first to know about rising stars and the next big hit. A versatile DJ and artist, Viv is often sought out as the ‘pop-culture’ DJ, playing a monthly residency for the 18-30 crowd at the famous XOYO club in London. At the other end of the spectrum, Viv is experienced in playing alongside singers, percussionists, saxophonists and violinists, where she is trusted to provide a smooth symphony with musicians, at large-scale grand events, weddings and sophisticated intimate venues, that want to provide a little something extra for their guests. With a growing fan base, Viv is supported by UK Radio station Kiss FM (UK) which selected her as a tastemaker to host a guest show on their KISS FRESH station, mixing the newest need-to-know RnB, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Amapiano and Garage. With a two-year radio residency on House 559, as well as providing guest mixes for popular UK stations – Foundation FM, Soho Radio and Westside Radio – Viv May is an experienced, charismatic host guaranteed to make sure all guests have a great time. A seasoned singer and songwriter, Viv's songs have been supported by the likes of Radio 1, Ministry of Sound Radio, Demand Records, Dispatch Recordings, Moulton Music and more. She can also be seen in the viral video ‘Ableton Push Challenge’ where she wrote and recorded the song ‘Can’t Wait’ to showcase the new Ableton Push, in under an hour.
