With many years collective music experience under their belts, Trio Grands core rhythm section includes Trio Grand founder Georg Voros on drums and vocals, Paul Carter on bass and vocals, completed by Gill Graham on piano and vocals, In showcasing a blend of sophisticated and varied instrumental and vocal repertoire, from easy listening Jazz standards to smoky Blues to contemporary favourites, Trio Grand are guaranteed to get your foot tapping. Trio Grand is a completely self contained unit and we can accommodate most small to medium size function rooms and also an outdoor setup. Our sound is perfectly tailored for any pre-event occasion requiring cool background music while guests socialise and sip their cocktails. Trio Grand is additionally a great choice for a dinner/dance type function where an alternative to a pop function band is preferred. We can also provide recorded background music inbetween our live music sets, guaranteeing a seamless flow of great entertainment. Georg has an extensive pedigree in the music business and has worked with many musicians and producers affiliated to artists such as Kate Bush, Osibisa and Level 42. He has additionally worked with an award winning band and recorded on an album nominated for a Mercury Music Prize award. Georg's extensive function band experience has seen him perform at all manner of occasions from corporate events, product launches to weddings and barmitzvahs. With a background in commercial music and recording, Paul has regularly performed a wide variety of musical styles and disciplines on both bass and guitar. Having discovered the joys of Jazz and Fusion in recent years, he brings all these skills together as part of a tight and exciting rhythm section. Gill trained as a classical pianist before discovering the world of Jazz. Since then she has worked as a cocktail pianist in both restaurant, wedding and corporate functions. Gill has also performed regularly with a number of bands, ranging from singer led combos to Latin party bands. She looks forward to bringing you a great musical experience.
