Born in London, Tonka._.b was raised by a touring musician father. Her early years were spent on the road, always sitting beside him on stage as he didn’t know what else to do with her. That view and love from the audience on stage ignited her love for music, and by the age of 10, she was already experimenting with music. As she grew, so did her passion and despite her dad’s position, she chose to take her own unique musical journey. Now an independent artist, she writes, produces all her own music and is an active DJ within house and DnB with a unique twist of singing on top, recently opening for Andy C at his residency at XOYO. Inspired by todays leading house producers and DJ’s she takes a nostalgic, romantic twist to her production and lyrics with an airy and ethereal vocal on top. Every song of hers is different but her sound is present, creating consistency in every genre she delves into. She now has her own radio show on DAB radio and is releasing monthly...
