The Sugar Grooves are made up of a pool of some of the most accomplished UK session musicians. Our performers toured with Bastille, participated in West End Shows such as "We Will Rock You", and performed in some of the most prestigious UK venues and events, including Prince William & Kate's Wedding. Please note: We are a collective of musicians all of equal quality that regularly perform together. Due to availability and session work, a fixed line up cannot always be guaranteed. For more information please speak to us. Our collective experience includes performing with and alongside notable artists such as Olly Murs, Jason Derulo, Bastille, Little Mix, Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon, and The Bachelors. Venues and events we performed at include Grosvenor Casino, Genting Casino, English National Ballet, The Roman Baths, and Stafford Christmas Lights Show 2019 (Headlined). We offer four types of packages: SILVER Trio - Vocal, Keys, Drums. GOLD 5 piece - Vocal, Keys, Drums, Guitar, Bass. DIAMOND 7 piece - Vocal, Keys, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Sax, Trumpet. PLATINUM 9 piece - 2 Vocals, Keys, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Sax, Trumpet, Percussion. Plus we offer a *Dinner Set For live background music to help make your event extra special. We play for a maximum of 120 minutes, with a 15-30 minute break. Please note: the maximum lineup size we can offer for a Dinner set depends on what size you book for the main Party set. All our quotes and packages always come inclusive of: - Full Sound System (PA), Lighting and sound engineer, suitable for events with up to 300 guests. If you require a larger PA, please get in touch. - DJ Style Playlist Between Sets. We can also plug your media device (iPod, phone, laptop) into our system so we can play your music for you. - Public Liability Insurance & PAT certification for all equipment. - First Dance Request, or a special request for you if it is not already in our repertoire. - Up To Two Hours Of Live Music. We require a minimum of a 15-minute break between the sets. We also have smaller band sizes to suit all venues and budgets. The sugar grooves band were absolutely phenomenal. Not only was the music great and the whole band very friendly and professional, but the singer was incredible at getting everyone up and dancing. A fantastic addition to our event that everyone will be talking about for a long time to come. 100% worth the money. Definitely recommend adding the saxophone!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band, our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, depending on your budget we have a 3,5,7,9 piece bands available.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. We provide a DJ style playlist between sets. We can also plug your media device (iPod, phone, laptop) into our system so we can play your music for you.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 2 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Full Sound System (PA), Lighting suitable for events with up to 300 guests and a sound engineer are included in our base price. If you require a larger PA, please get in touch.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We would love to learn new songs and will gladly learn the first song or a special request for you if it is not already in our repertoire. Please ensure you let us know in advance.
