The sugar grooves band were absolutely phenomenal. Not only was the music great and the whole band very friendly and professional, but the singer was incredible at getting everyone up and dancing. A fantastic addition to our event that everyone will be talking about for a long time to come. 100% worth the money. Definitely recommend adding the saxophone!

Thankyou for last night again! Everyone had a great time, you guys made a great atmosphere party vibe. Even had a couple of gatecrashing social club members who’s excuse was our band/party was better than the Plastic Shamrocks next door – I guess that’s a big compliment to us 🤣

All prices include:All Prices Include: * Professional Sound System & Lighting: High-quality PA system and stage lighting suitable for events of up to 300 guests, subject to venue requirements. A dedicated sound engineer is included with our larger line-ups where applicable. Please enquire for larger events. * DJ-Style Music Between Sets: Carefully selected playlists to keep the atmosphere going between performances. We can also play your own playlists through our sound system. * Public Liability Insurance: We carry public liability insurance for your peace of mind. * Special Song Requests: We are happy to accommodate a first dance or special song request, subject to suitability and sufficient notice. * Live Performance: Up to two hours of live music as standard, with a minimum 15-minute interval between sets. Extended performances of up to three hours are available at an additional cost. Additional Information: * Musician Hospitality: A substantial hot meal per musician and complimentary soft drinks throughout the event must be provided by the client. If meals cannot be provided, an additional catering allowance of £30 per musician will apply. * Travel & Additional Expenses: Travel, parking and accommodation costs are not included in the advertised prices and will be confirmed in your quotation. All performances include professional musicians, sound equipment and lighting appropriate to your chosen line-up and venue.

Our sound is inspired by legendary artists including Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chic, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Sister Sledge and Whitney Houston. We combine the timeless energy of funk, soul and disco with modern pop and dance hits, creating a fresh, exciting live party experience.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Our musicians have performed at some truly prestigious events, including a Royal Wedding, and have experience performing for the Royal Family. Other highlights include appearances at the Royal Albert Hall, The O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium, Royal Ascot and events for major international brands. We bring this wealth of experience to every performance.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Our promotional videos showcase the exceptional standard of vocalists we work with. Many of our singers are professional touring artists or work regularly in television and the music industry, so availability can vary. However, every vocalist is carefully selected to ensure the same outstanding quality, energy and performance at your event.

Do you have different line-up options?

Absolutely! We offer four fantastic packages to suit your event and budget: Silver (3-piece), Gold (5-piece), Diamond (7-piece with sax and trumpet) and Platinum (9-piece with additional vocals and percussion). Each line-up delivers an unforgettable live music experience!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We understand that event schedules can change! We’re always happy to be flexible wherever possible. Simply let us know as early as you can, and we’ll do our best to accommodate any adjustments. Significant changes to performance times or additional hours may incur an extra charge.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course! We provide complimentary DJ-style playlists between our live sets to keep the atmosphere going. We can also play your own carefully selected playlists through our sound system. Additional background music before or after our performance can be arranged upon request.

How much time do you need to set up?

We require up to 2 hours for unloading, setting up and sound checking, depending on the line-up. If your event is running behind schedule, we still require sufficient time to set up safely and professionally. We’ll always do our best to work quicker where possible, but any delays must allow for our agreed setup time before performing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are carefully designed to keep your guests dancing all night! You’re welcome to share your favourite songs from our repertoire, along with any songs you’d prefer us to avoid. We’ll use your preferences to create the perfect atmosphere while keeping the performance flowing naturally.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes! Professional sound equipment and stage lighting are included in our packages, suitable for events of up to 300 guests, subject to venue requirements. A dedicated sound engineer is included with our larger line-ups where applicable. For larger venues or additional production requirements, please contact us.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely! We’d love to make your event extra special. We can learn a first dance or special song request that isn’t already in our repertoire, subject to suitability and sufficient notice. Please let us know your chosen song as early as possible so we can prepare the perfect performance.
